Sax Nuns' Island

Located at the entrance to Nuns’ Island, the SAX complex is an exceptional project signed Dan S. Hanganu, finalist at the Quebec Order of Architects’ 2009 Prix d’excellence.

The compound’s three buildings form a U-shape around an inner courtyard. Among other features that won its finalist status, the Order cited, “double-height spaces, angled windows, spacious balconies, bright colours and especially the carefully framed views all contribute to a contemporary feel that instills both calm and joie de vivre”.
